Heirloom tomatoes have more delicate skins than the handful of tomato varieties you will find at the grocery store, and thus you will not see many in the stores because they do not ship well. They are not uniform, and they sometimes crack, but that is the beauty of the heirloom tomato, affectionately called the ‘ugly tomato.’ But don’t let that fool you! The taste and textures of these tomatoes will blow you away — not to mention the sheer variety of colors, shapes, and sizes.

Put in an order to make sure you get the first available tomatoes or order a large amount for canning or sauce-making. Pickup at a farmer’s market or other prearranged location.
